Then, on arrival, two of the flight attendants announced they weren't feeling well, and we waited another hour, with few announcements which were audible only at the gate. After the flight landed and I went to retrieve my carry-on, it was gone! The flight was full, so I checked with the flight attendants if my bag somehow got gate-checked or it was moved. They didn't know and they said maybe it went into the checked bags.
So I wait at the baggage claim and out comes my carry on bag without any tags. My carry on didn't have anything valuable, but a bit of communication or some form of record would have made this odd incident a little less nerve-wracking. Please communicate with the passenger if their bags get transferred to the checked bags 2. Please communicate with the crew which bags get moved from the cabin to the checked luggage 3.
Please label the bags if they get moved around--there was no gate-checked tags or any stickers to communicate with the checked luggage folks. Pros: "I reached my destination. The seat 31C has a busted aux port. I tried to watch a movie, first off the closed captioning didn't work. So I tried to listen. The aux port wiggled in it's casing and there was so much static that there was no point in listening. The off boarding process was very slow and uncoordinated. I understand that they have to off board in a certain order.
However, the flight announcer could have kept the rest of the plane updated on the process. I could not check in for my last segment on-line via my phone. The message I was given during check in process said in red letters, that I needed to speak to an agent at the counter. I was on a tropical island, i couldn't just run down to the airport.
I tried calling customer service, but wasn't able to connect due to bad cell service. My connections were tight and because I couldn't checkin the prior day, I was not allowed to get a seat on my original flight. I was rescheduled on to new flights and those were delayed. Once on the plane, I was assigned a seat that doesn't recline. There were no weather issues that day, just JetBlue being terrible.

Very unprofessional crew. Credit card promotions over the PA system were very annoying and unintelligible. There were flights leaving Orlando. When I called to ask why since all I received was a text message the customer service rep was rude. This is on top of the 2 additional hotel nights we paid for and additional meals.
When I asked if we would be compensated for all the additional expenses we were incurring I was told it's weather related so probably not. She said to try to contact them online. I will not fly AA again and I will not recommend them to family or friends. If I could give zero stars I would but the survey defaults to one star. Cons: "American Airlines is always late". I received errors when trying to access gogoinflight on my tablet, even when I had the most updated app. Therefore I was unable to use the app during my flight to Philadelphia. Also, when checking in from our original departure location, MCO, we were not provided our boarding pass or luggage tags for our final destination, Barcelona, only to our connecting flight, Philadelphia.
The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane. So we waited in the plane for the whole hour and half while a maintenance issue was being resolved.
The delay almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines.
This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport kiosks, service desks, and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience.
I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive.

The entire aircraft boarded and sat, again, for 30 minutes without any air conditioning or air flow in the cabin. Blah experience. Blah employees. Only reason ever given was that there was an "odor" on the aircraft I know aircraft issues happen, but the communication was horrible.
