Interaction with students and instilling the joy, love and understanding of music while having fun learning. I've taught public school, community college, universities, and master classes and clinics.

Serves Seattle, WA. Javier Montilla Flute Lessons 5. Lessons consist of 30 minutes to an hour of individual instruction covering all aspects of flute technique, repertoire and musicality.

In addition, music history and theory are addressed, according to student level and needs. I recently moved back to the Seattle area after spending three years in Texas teaching a studio of 35 middle and high school flutists. Under my tutelage they improved their skills, gained new appreciation for music, won local competitions one received a brand new professional flute for her award! I also pursue an active playing career, but I am especially focused on teaching.
