Buy the bucket san jose ca

The selections are vast A lot of items that I would like to go back again and try. Especially SusieQCup's Salmon and polenta and the cioppino My hubby had the veal scallopini, and shared some with me I would order this again for sure, more of a brown sauce than the kind that you get at, say, OJ's. I ordered the sirloin and lamb combo. The sauce that came with both was very good! However, I had ordered medium rare lamb and rare steak. I got raw lamb and medium well steak. Too bad the waiter never stopped by to check on us As is.

He also never tried to upsell soup, apps, salad, dessert, which was surprising since we had planned to order some but he had left the table so quickly after taking the main course items that we didn't have the chance, then never saw him again until he brought our order to the table nor did he offer to refill drinks.

All items which would have brought his tip up, so I figured this was a one person abherration and not the norm for the restaurant. Bottom line for us: we enjoyed the food , and decided that despite the poor service and lack of caring, we will go back again, try some new items, and definitely request a different waitperson. I've been here a few times over the years when other people have suggested it, while I think the food is good, it's not great by any means.

I think they're expensive for what it is too. You have to try the calms though. Excellent Food with nice food and beverage menu. Ample parking at the back with back door entry. Servers were patient and friendly! Would go there back again. My husband and I have been frequenting BtB for over a decade, and we have yet to be disappointed. It's a wee bit pricey for us otherwise we'd eat there every week , but the portions do measure up to the prices, and the food is just wonderful.

We've taken out-of-town friends for their heavenly cioppino, and even the native San Franciscans have to admit they do something to the broth that sets it apart from other ""good"" versions; in ten years, my husband has only ordered something other than the cioppino one time, and even our younger daughter has been slurping it up since she was two years old. Both our kids have always loved it there the cheerful wait staff brings crayons in a tiny bucket, which they find hilarious , and we rarely have any boxes to take home, which translates into clean plates and happy parents!

The atmosphere is pleasantly dim, cozy and friendly, and the noise level can rise a bit as the room fills - but that's exactly why we like it. How often do you hear about a ""nice"" restaurant, with great food on a huge menu, romantic enough for a man to propose, where people also feel comfortable bringing their kids and celebrating in large, exuberant groups?!

I met some friends here while on a business trip and totally loved it. The steak was cooked to meet a Texan's standards. We had drinks, appetizers, and shut the restaurant down well after closing.

The service here was fantastic and the waitstaff very friendly and accomodating. I have no idea how to get back here, but would if I could, hehe. Being a visitor to the area I decided to try out a few places that caught my fancy.

I was drawn by their catfish promo, thus last night I had dinner there. Parking was no problem, street or onsite. The fire was extinguished by a. The building is still intact, the roof collapsed entirely, Kelly said. The cause of the fire remained undetermined as of Saturday evening. The collapse of the roof made it unsafe for fire investigators to gain access to the interior Saturday, Kelly said.

Firefighters planned to work to secure the scene overnight, and experts with the Santa Clara County Fire Department are expected join the investigation Monday to help pinpoint a cause, he added.

I miss that kind of closeness to an establishment. Replacing the old is a brand-spanking-new By-Th-Bucket, a chic, upbeat, expanded version, with waitresses, neon lights and a smooth operation.

Then dig into the ultimate San Francisco-style comfort food: Cioppino by the bucket, as the name says. Stay tuned for more on the closing; in the meantime, share your memories in the article commenting area below.
