I have been there a hand full of times and each visit left me unsatisfied. The prices are extremely high, especially considering the quality of their products. The worst part is the employees, who are rude and seem to believe that they are cooler than most people for working at Retro. Also, they are likely to ask you to leave if you are only browsing and not purchasing. The quality and price of the products are the same, but they have much more merchandise to choose from in the front and back of the store.

The staff are all friendly for the most part, except a few that seem to think they are better than everyone because they work in such a "cool" store.

A wide variety of products, and it always smells amazing in there. On the more riska products, the ones in the back room, the employees will even help you decide what is right for you. I gladly donate the other four stars to Mike's review to give you another five star review! I've been coming here for a few years and it has always been a good experience. The guys were always helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Recently it has gotten some new management, two amazingly sweet women. The customer service level, especially for us ladies trying on clothes and overall friendly atmosphere in the shop has given the place some fresh, happy and inviting energy.
Definitely stop in. They've got a most excellent selection of pure awesomeness and equally awesome vibes as well!! Been coming here for almost a decade. As much as I miss the old location, with its facade and "secret" back room, the new spot is just as good. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Suffice to say, retro is my favorite head shops in Dallas.
