I had a very typical experience you go to work, from time to time you have safety meetings. Sometimes they'll have parties for holidays. I learned a great deal of my low voltage experience at this job in which they lent the tools for. Management above my supervisor was a great mystery on what they wanted and what direction they where going.

I feel like the benefits package has been good too. It's a good place to learn the electrical trade but if you are experienced and or licensed they will try to pay less then what you are worth and some of the supervisors are terrible at being organized and depend on you to do their job for them. I was very disappointed in working for this company and it was a terrible experience. This company is ran like a good old boys club. They work you approx. There is a lot of favoritism and envy.
They make a lot of promises but none of what they say is true. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. It has been the worst work experience that I have ever had and I regret leaving my previous employer to work for them. Overall experience at IES was what I would consider to be decent. The overall management experience was good, field leads didn't train well. But overall good experience. The work was really enjoyable. And they teach really good there and they also pay hourly for a month while you learn.
