The following year though bought a dip in form as Deepika finished outside the top four in the national qualifications and failed to make the cut for the Indian team. However, she brought her best to the table in the Wroclaw World Cup to win a fourth gold medal within four years of entering the senior fray.
Deepika was part of the team that finished as runners-up at the World Archery Championships in Denmark, which ensured that the Indian team earned a quota for the Rio Games.
